My work draws on original archival research and interviews with human rights workers, NGOs, labor activists, and members of the Shidi community in Sindh on the Western Coast of British India - on the shores of the Arabian Sea. My work focuses on the haris, the legal topography of Sindh, and attempts to recover a comprehensive "labor history" of Sindh.
